Consumers are demanding value in 2025. According to Technomic’s 2025 annual outlook,
72% of consumers wish more restaurants would offer value meals and seek out discounts
and deals. The danger for operators is to go all in on value and price items too low,
devaluing their menu. One suggestion would be to deliver value in a way that doesn’t
compromise profits but rather offers customers an experience. This might include offering
higher quality proteins in smaller portions, enhancing sides with foods high in nutritional
benefits, or offering smaller portions with high variety like flights. All good ways to bring the wow factor.
